parasols at a large shopping centre

The specification:

The redevelopment of the shopping centre’s underused garden square was aimed at increasing business by attracting high quality restaurant units and thereby creating a new destination space for eating and relaxing. Part of the renovation called for outside shade and corporate branding for the individual units. The architecture of the building is a cool, elegant glass and steel framed design. The shade structures needed to be in keeping with the sleek, contemporary façade.

The solution:

Following a site visit and assessment of the area, Global Parasols recommended and supplied a total of 12 Vortex 2.8m Square printed parasols with integrated heating and light for 3 of the restaurant outlets. Each parasol was installed into in-ground bases for added strength and trimness. These tensile parasols with their 304 grade stainless steel frames and Ferrari PVC fabric were in total harmony with the design of the building.

The result:

The open-air garden square is now a vibrant and bustling space. The renovation has greatly improved the foodservice mix and everything looks cleaner and crisper. The Vortex parasols have added style, vivid colour, practical shade and high visibility corporate branding to the food outlets involved.
