Tested to WIND FORCE 11 With the 4.2m square model now wind tested to 115Kmh, this is going to be able to stay up and open far longer than any other parasol or awning on the market. Stainless steel frame combined with fire retardant Ferrari PVC fabric and designed to enable fitting of electrical IR heaters and lights this has to be the ultimate smoking ban solution.

Details

Originating from Tradewinds in South Africa, already established as the leading manufacturer of commercial grade wooden parasols, the new Tornado is a venture into an area few other manufacturers dare to go - high tensile, high strength parasols.

Available in 2.8m Square and 4.2m Square sizes, complete with white Ferrari PVC fabric and a stainless steel in ground base.

Frame structure manufactured from 304 stainless steel the Tornado is designed to be left up and open all year round (well, except possibly the one or two times in the year when we get the very extreme weather!)

Tradewinds use the market leading Ferrari PVC fabric which provides the added benefit of being fire retardant.

Installation

We strongly recommend that this parasol is installed in the ground, using the included ground tubes, this will provide the best stability for the product and ensure that it is available for use year-round.

Whatever weight of traditional parasol base, used as an alternative to the ground tube is not going to provide adequate support to a parasol expected to withstand high wind.

Electrics can also be added by a qualified electrician. We have designed the product with this in mind and it is easy to have electric IR heaters and / or lights fitted to the tornado - this would be best done prior to installation to ensure that the cables can be hidden

Durable enough to be left out all year round, strong enough to withstand every day use.

Can be removed and stored.
